The Grouoer sandwich was so good that we went back the next day after the beach to enjoy another. The setting was great! We ate outside one day and went inside in the coolness the next day. Service was great!

My father always likes to get oysters and scallops any chance he gets. So we stopped in here for dinner, it was a little bit later so wasn't very crowded. My wife really enjoyed reading the funny sayings and art work on the walls. Really neat atmosphere. Lots of dollar bills on the walls with names and locations of visitors. I ordered the coconut shrimp with marmalade and they were good but a little chewy. For the dinner, my dad got the combo, broiled scallops, fried oysters, and fried clam strips. He said it was very good! Ate every last bite! I got the stuffed flounder. It was very good! My wife went with a cheeseburger and she said it was good! Over all fun atmosphere, good service, and good food. Sorry no pictures this review.

The food was great. We ordered the Pjs super combo and shared. It was plenty of food and everything was good. We had the baby back ribs, snow crabs, and bake potatoes. The only thing I was not a fan of was the rice. The waiter Susan was amazing.

Came here for appetizers during lunchtime on a Sunday. Not too crowded, but not empty at all. I highly recommend the clam chowder. Was excellent, especially with a dash of Crystal's Louisiana hot sauce.

Great food and wonderful service. Kind of a local place that you can get served fast and friendly. I went there over 15 times last month with superior service from both Becky during the day and Billy/Mary Lou at night.

Great fresh seafood! We love PJs and have been fans for years. Love that they know so much about the Gulf seafood.

For my mother's 88th birthday I took her to PJs. I remembered my last visit and was not enthusiastic, but she had seen an ad about the various crabs in season at market price. I was pleased at the huge difference in food, service, and cleanliness of the restaurant. I can only conclude that either my last visit (In the off season almost 4 years ago, Pre-Covid) was with totally different management and staff, OR there is a huge drop in personnel and quality during the off season. We started off with a half a dozen raw oysters which were pleasingly plump, and a half a dozen Oysters Chicago (which I had never heard of and I lived & worked in downtown Chicago for 57 years), Consisting of baked oysters with Parmesan cheese and garlic butter; and 2 appetizer orders of stone crab claws (3 in each order $20). Mom also had a cup of gumbo. All the oysters were terrific. The crab claws had been expertly cracked open so it was easy to get at the meat. But the restaurant also supplied a hammer and a claw cracker for those hard to get at spots (Or for people who like to hammer their food into submission). $75+ $15 tip well worth the price. Gonna have to try the Alaskan king crab legs on my next visit. Sorry no pictures was too busy entertaining mom.
